A group of politicians in Sweden took part on a StarCraft 2 tournament this past weekend to “raise awareness about eSports in politics, and politics among gamers,” The Daily Dot reports.
The tournament, called Politikerstarcraft, was created by Jonathan Rider Lundkvist in 2010. Lundkvist was a member of the Swedish Pirate Party, which formed in 2006 to focus on issues like net neutrality, censorship, copyright and patent reform.
the far left is against the nazi party in the first round this shit is too real
they had better win, we have a tradition of murdering nazis to uphold
Nazi party performance finally puts the lie to the myth of fascist efficiency through their sloppy and confused build orders, while the Socialists reveal the superiority of central planning through their incredible macro play
yeah the left party kicked everybody else’s ass due to their player being a semi-pro from sweden while all the others were just masters-level players or less. incidentally, they made some jokes like that while they were playing, although the casters didn’t translate most of them (eg Left to Pirate; “Looks like your workers are slow. I bet they have temp contracts. You should fix that.” Response: “Maybe you should start sharing some of your wealth.”)
This is beyond real.
i just remembered i dreamed i soloed hard gollux last night

I need my glasses to find my glasses do you see my problem
You can’t even see your problem
you’ve fallen ill and all your loved ones are around you on your deathbed. you beckon one of them
"closer" they inch forward
"closer" you insist
and they lean in as you begin to utter your last words “did naruto ever end" and they shake their head solemnly. you lose. because naruto outlived you
